About Me
About Me: They Called It Guppy Love:

Once Upon A Time There Lived A Boy At Nine Years Old Began Shoveling Snow For of All The Luck: A Cripple Named: Joseph Cofagno. He Had A Deep Gray Blue Station Wagon in The Sixties, With Throttle Controls On The Gear Box (or Column) That He Went To Rhode Island To Buy Supplies, One Of Which Was Liquid Potassium Permanganate . As My Pay Which Was Nine Dollars, He Offered A Trade of A Ten Gallon Fish Tank, and The Filter and Gravel, and A Mixed Bunch of Tropical Fish and Duck Weed. I Began My Adventure of Feeding Fish and Couldn't Afford A Heater, So I Kept The Light On, On The Fish Tank. I Would In My Oft Time Deliver The Evening Gazette, and Buy Candy and Gum At The Tatnuck Spa. I Would Also Trade Some Duck Weed, Because The Light Bulb Would Keep The Spawning Duck Weed Growing. Joe Asked Me, If I Had Any Red-Tailed Guppies, They Were Creating A New Breed or Strain of Fish, and I Had A Full Breed Mother Cow Red-Tailed Guppy, I Was 11 Years Old.. Then He Asked If I Had Any Males, and I Had A Near "Fancy" Tail Male With Mostly Red. He Traded Me Three Albino Mollies For The Two Guppies. In The Sixth Grade, For Our Lady of Mercy School, We Made Yule Logs For and Sold Them As Donation To The School. After Getting Permission From The Sansoucy Property, I Went and Cut Down More Logs For My Grandfather and I.. To Sell Yule Logs, Bought 10 Cent Candles From Lincoln Pharmacy, and Used Sprigs of Pine and Laurel on The Logs and Sold Them. Later My Parents At Eleven, Got A Divorce.. and You Know That Bait In "Boys Life Magazine" (I Sold Seeds From Boys Life) With The Locusts and Stuff, They Sold Those At Chaffin's Store. Never Told Anyone. Never Told Anyone You Could Get Liquor By Prescription, When I Worked At Insta-Care Pharmacy: Were Roger Parent Invented Betadine Douche with Potassium Permanganate. Never Told Anyone I Worked At Holden Discount Liquors, Not Even My Father. Where I Got A Fishing Rod and Things, As Promotions. Still A Lot of Cripples, Even Vet's Don't Have Cars.. and I Lost My Christmas Tips When Mom and Dad Divorced. But Though It All Never Tell, Never Tell, Never Tell. Go Fish!

Dare to dream the dream. What dream is that about me. I suppose I was not intended for the transition dating that occurred to me in my youth. When thee advent of the std era bloomed, I got out and basically stayed out. Spent about ten years with my buddies that we roamed like lions, from tavern to tavern of men. Like American Legion Posts and from liquor store to liquor store. The ways of the old soldiers, that I knew to grow and love, from my days as the bat boy for one Post. The odors that loomed at the barstools as a child of cigar smoke and stale beer.. and the sweat of injured heroes. No we that wandered with the clean way and abstaining, moved on and on, and on. You bet we had our fill, but not the kind you call, problematic or hedonistic. But old soldiers, even their ghosts I see, crawl back to their home with their love waiting. Then I was somewhat alone. I worked from a make-shift studio, and began my way in simplicity to apply myself from childhood talent, and became endeared to the concise practice of an artisan, of the canvas sort. This is where I've been for the past other ten years, perfecting my craft as a self-taught artist. I recently got a letter from Buckingham Palace of thanks by their lady in waiting from: Queen Elizabeth II. Where my soul did love the scent of soldiers where there was beer, there was camaraderie. I didn't miss my friends, many had gone to the nuptials of marriage before. But now it's time like a broken man, for me to find what was lost in labors of love, that drink and work gave no repair. There was none to share this with 'cept the God in the sky somewhere. Now I walk from the labors of time, mostly unscathed except by the wound in my heart, that i did not chase the scent of the mare, and set as the seal on my arm, seems wisdom became a lonely shadow. What god did this, I did not, and do not care. I am clean and driven, where in time all the old horsemen go, back to the lady that if you'll be guest of the love the era of time was no fault of mine, but accusations I do not hold.
