I am a national level NPC figure competitor. My fitness career started at age 5, when my mom enrolled me in dance. I studied ballet, tap and jazz for 13 years and continued on through college and into my 30's. I became interested in lifting weights in 1992. I began competing in the NPC in 2003. I have won locally, then went on to compete in nationals for 2 years. I took a break and returned to the stage in 2007. Now 2008, I am back in nationals and in the running for my pro card with a 4th place showing at the 2008 IFBB North American Figure Championship. My next national show is in Atlanta in November. I also enjoy running half marathons. I began in 2007 and have finished 5; half marathon season starts up again in November this year. I am a personal trainer and RYT yoga instructor also.
